DECEMBER 1967: DETROIT FREE PRESS

"I lived from moon to moon. Just like an Indian," Lynne Seemayer said about the 6 months prior to painting the Pink Lady. She made many forays onto the steep cliffside to remove graffiti from the rocks that would eventually be graced by the 60-foot "Malibu Maiden." This month marks the 53rd anniversary of the Pink Lady.

FEBRUARY 1967: ROAD & TRACK
